A damaged façade, exposed wall sections and openable windows lend the structure exceptional realism, faithfully capturing the atmosphere of a city engulfed in combat. The building features brand-new brick-textured bricks created using a dual-color injection molding technique; this means a single brick incorporates two colors of ABS—one for the bricks themselves and another for the mortar joints. • Refined diorama details A white-and-red flag flies from the building, and the "Fighting Poland" symbol is visible on the wall. A damaged sidewalk, scattered bricks, wooden planks, a sack and cable cutters create an evocative scene of street fighting. • 1:28 scale This large scale ensures a high level of detail and full compatibility with other COBI sets from the Historical Collection WWII series. • Functional elements A movable vehicle and a deployable control cable allow for an even more engaging display of the model. • Collector's appeal An ideal addition to historical dioramas and collections dedicated to the events of the Warsaw Uprising. • Quality COBI Durable prints, excellent part fit and solid construction ensure the model looks great for years to come. • Clear instructions An intuitive building process suitable for both beginners and experienced builders. Its mission was to deliver an explosive charge directly to the target. Controlled via a cable, the vehicle could destroy barricades, fortifications, and other terrain obstacles. Despite its small size and low profile, it was vulnerable to control cable damage and was relatively slow. The Goliath in the Warsaw Uprising During the Warsaw Uprising of 1944, German forces used Goliath vehicles to destroy barricades and fortifications built by the insurgents. Thanks to their compact size, they could maneuver between barricades and through urban ruins, reaching their designated targets directly. Insurgents often successfully disabled Goliath vehicles by cutting the control cables with shears or destroying them with grenades and improvised explosive devices before they could reach their targets.
