Subaru in the 2004 WRC season The Subaru Impreza WRC 2004 was an extension of the "blobeye" concept known from the previous season but even better refined in terms of aerodynamics, reliability and handling. Subaru continued its uncompromising design philosophy: a lightweight body, high-performance suspension and a turbocharged boxer engine mated to the legendary AWD drivetrain. The team competed in WRC rounds around the world: from asphalt stages, through loose gravel to the demanding routes of northern Europe. The 2004 season went down in history as a time of incredibly fierce competition, where details, precision and perfect teamwork were paramount. It was these emotions, along with the final meters of the stage in Japan, the finishing ceremony, and the moment of triumph, that inspired this unique set.
