Volkswagen Passat B1 Car

Build a model of the green Volkswagen Passat B1 and return to an era of motoring full of character! Go back to a time when cars were designed with passion and every detail mattered. When Giorgetto Giugiaro's design was a symbol of purity of form and driving itself brought more joy than all the gadgets in the world. Now you can touch that era by building a Volkswagen Passat B1 in green in a new COBI brick version. The birth of a classic sedan In 1973, Volkswagen presented the world with a new mid-range model - the Passat B1, a car that for years became a symbol of solidity, practicality and a modern approach to design. Giugiaro gave it a light, elegant and timeless shape, and the Audi 80 technology ensured reliability and comfort. The sedan version was the most classic variant of the Passat with a harmonious roofline, a clearly defined trunk lid and a light, minimalist silhouette that still evokes nostalgia among classic car enthusiasts today. Production of the B1 ended in Europe in 1980, but its legend lives on. Now you can build its faithful brick version in a unique green color! Key features of the Volkswagen Passat B1 set: Perfect reproduction of the Passat B1 Sedan silhouette – the model captures the characteristic lines of the first Passat: a simple, elegant hood, a classic three-box profile and a clearly accentuated rear with a characteristic trunk lid. Every element has been designed with realism and the history of motoring in mind. The quintessence of German design of the 1970s – Here you'll find classic headlights, chrome (block-shaped) trim, a characteristic radiator grille and a massive, simple bumper that gives the model a rugged, typically German character. Scale 1:35 – the preserved scale allows for precise reproduction of the car's most important features, while ensuring structural stability and a great look on the shelf. Toy and model in one – the model has movable wheels and rubber tires, making it perfect as both a display piece and a toy. Simplicity and enjoyment of building – the step-by-step instructions allow you to assemble the model effortlessly, regardless of your experience level. The building process is intuitive and satisfying, while also allowing you to focus on the details. Original Volkswagen license – the model was created under an official license, guaranteeing maximum accuracy to the original. Part of the COBI Volkswagen classics collection – the Passat B1 Sedan perfectly complements the series of historical Volkswagen vehicles, offering classic car enthusiasts another unique model for their collection.
